Framed vintage buvard for French Bordeaux.
Blotters, or buvard in French, were ads printed on blotting paper used for blotting ink. They became widely popular during the early 1900’s as a novel way to advertise.
Date unknown, though likely from the 1950’s or 60’s based off the style and 4-digit phone number. Ideal gift or purchase for any vintage wine or advertising aficionados.
Due to it’s age the blotter has some water marks, creases and damage to the print.
Dimensions: 370 × 290 mm (external frame size)
